Who is responsible

SVAL Air is responsible for the personal information handled through this website. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact hello@svalair.com.

Information we handle

When you email us, we receive your email address, the message and any details or attachments you choose to include. Please do not send sensitive health information through general enquiries.

Our hosting service receives technical connection information, such as an IP address, requested page and browser details, to deliver the website. Security and error diagnostics may also be processed by the hosting platform.

Why we use information

We use correspondence to answer enquiries and manage our relationship with you. Our basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract. Website delivery and security serve our legitimate interest in operating a reliable site. Where we send optional product or launch updates, we rely on your consent; you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.

Launch updates

The launch form opens your email app with a request for updates. Nothing is sent until you choose to send that email. It does not automatically subscribe you to a mailing platform or save your email in this browser. Supplying an email address is optional and is needed only if you want a reply or updates. You can use the rest of the site without doing so.

Cookies and browser storage

We have not added advertising trackers or optional analytics to this website. Browser storage can remember website preferences. An earlier preview could save a launch-form email on your device; it was not sent to SVAL. You can remove that old draft and our saved preferences using the control below. Service providers and external links

The site is hosted through Lovable. Google Fonts supplies the website fonts and receives connection details, including your IP address, when your browser requests them. Email is handled by the providers used by you and SVAL. These services receive information needed to deliver their services; this notice does not cover websites you visit through external links.

Provider processing may take place outside the EU/EEA. Applicable safeguards depend on the provider and service arrangement, such as an adequacy decision or contractual safeguards. How long information is kept

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and any related follow-up. Information may need to be retained longer where required by law or necessary for legal claims. Hosting diagnostics follow the provider’s retention settings. Browser preferences and any earlier locally saved draft remain until removed using the control below or your browser’s site-data settings. Ask us about retention for a particular conversation.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your information; restriction of processing; and a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and object to direct marketing at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in the GDPR.

Email hello@svalair.com. We may need information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; if a permitted extension is necessary, we will explain it within that month. We do not use the website to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

If you have a concern

Please contact us so we can try to resolve it. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred. In Norway, this is Datatilsynet.
